Why SecureVault exists

I built SecureVault because I wanted a password manager I could trust by reading the code, not by reading a marketing page.

The big providers are excellent, but they all share one quality: you have to take their crypto on faith. Self-hosting flips that — your trust boundary stops at hardware you control.

It’s MIT licensed and the source is on GitHub. PRs and issues welcome.
